Die Podium Wheel Bases nutzen einen Outrunner Motor, der speziell für SimRacing entwickelt wurde. Anstatt einen normalen industriellen Motor zu nutzen, sind unsere Motoren maßgeschneidert für SimRacing, ohne Kompromisse einzugehen. Herausragende Beschleunigung, unglaubliche Laufruhe und außergewöhnliche Drehmomente sorgen für ein unvergleichliches Fahrerlebnis.

Wir haben eine einzigartige Lösung für die Daten- und Stromübertragung entwickelt. Von der Wheel Base direkt durch die Mitte der Motorachse durch den Schnellverschluss bis in das Lenkrad. Dadurch werden weder Spiralkabel noch Batterien im Lenkrad benötigt.

Seit der Markteinführung hat das DD2 umfangreiche Firmware-Updates bekommen. Es sind neue Funktionen dazu gekommen und die Leistung wurde signifikant verbessert. Die Force-Feedback-Auflösung wurde erhöht, die Latenz verringert und die Motorsteuerung wurde weiter für feine Details optimiert.

Der QR2 Base-Side (Type-M) ist ein Schnellverschlusssystem aus dem Motorsport und wird aus einem einzigen Stück hochwertigem Aluminium CNC-gefräst. Sie bekommen den QR2 kostenlos dazu, wenn Sie eine Podium Wheel Base DD2 bestellen. Die einfache Montage dauert nur wenige Minuten.

Über das Display kann das Tuning-Menü (auch während der Fahrt) bedient werden. Außerdem können sich fortgeschrittene Nutzer weitere Motor- und Force-Feedback-Daten in Echtzeit anzeigen lassen. Im intelligenten Telemetrie-Modus (ITM) zeigt das Display Daten aus kompatiblen Rennsimulationen (Rundenzeit, Position, Tankfüllstand uvm.).

  • Wireless QR technology: Wireless transfer of data (infra-red) and power (inductive coupling) between the motor and quick release means no external cables between wheel base and steering wheel, and no need for batteries inside the wheel.

  • Rotation: 2520 degrees (electronically limited, adjustable).

  • Integrated 2.7” 256x64 resolution OLED display for Tuning Menu, real-time motor and force feedback data, and Intelligent Telemetry Mode (FanaLabsoftware required).

  • Standard Tuning Menu allows beginners to get started quickly without having to worry about settings

  • Advanced Tuning Menu allows enthusiasts to fine-tune the force feedback characteristics to suit their driving preferences

  • Killswitch allows instant shut down of the DD2 in the event of an emergency. It also features a remote power button, and universal mounting points for ease of access.
