iRacing Arcade System Requirements and Recommended Specs

Sim racing is known and loved for its high realism, unforgiving difficulty, and fierce online competition with neck-to-neck racing. One of the most famous sims and industry benchmark when it comes to multiplayer is iRacing.
Available since 2008, iRacing is one of the longest-running sim racing series around and still extremely successful in the market. While being very rewarding once you have become familiar with the game (and spent countless hours practicing), its very true-to-life representation of the sport is certainly not for everyone.
With iRacing Arcade however, the world of virtual motorsports can be accessible for everyone who wants to satisfy their itch for speed.

Although the game has a very stylized, cartoonish art style, you will still need a relatively decent PC to play the game. So going with the system requirements is recommended if you want to race with a smooth framerate. If you plan to play on Steam Deck or handheld PCs with similar specs, you’ll have no problem running the game.
iRacing Arcade also releases on consoles. On these platforms, you won’t have to worry since the game will be optimized there due to standardized hardware.

As the name suggests, iRacing Arcade steers away from the ultra-realism of its “big brother” and delivers an approachable experience that can be picked up by anybody. It also features officially licensed content. Cars like the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, and tracks like Imola and Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez offer a new and fun way to race some of motorsports biggest icons.
In single player, you can build your racing legacy, take on global time trials and race your way to the top of the leaderboard. Additionally, you can put your skills to the test in online multiplayer with up to 11 competitors from around the world.
While you can play just with a keyboard on PC, iRacing Arcade is perfectly suited to be played with a controller. But whatever you choose, you’ll be experiencing the raw excitement of motorsport – celebrating every triumph and using every setback as fuel for your next victory!
