ClubSport Handbrake V2 + ClubSport USB Adapter

The lever’s rubber grip can be removed. Simply pull it off while turning it slightly.

To reattach the grip, simply slide it back on.

The lever (b) can be mounted in different orientations.

The ClubSport Handbrake V2 also allows for three different angles when mounting the lever.

Place the lever (b) in the desired position in the handbrake (a).

Insert the lever bolt (c).

Tighten using the included 4 mm Allen keys (f). We reccomnned to tighten the lever bolts with 10 Nm torque.

To mount the ClubSport Handbrake V2 to your ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5:

1. Remove the bolts on the front using the included 2.5 mm Allen key (g).
2. Lift the cover.

Using the included Mounting Spacer (e), the ClubSport Handbrake V2 can be mounted to the Shifter in different positions like the examples shown here.

Place the Handbrake on the Mounting Spacer (e) aligning the mounting holes with the shifter's T-nuts.

Attach the handbrake using the included M5 x 30 mm bolts (h) and M5 washers (k). Tighten using the included 4 mm Allen key (f).

Attention: Insert the bolts inside the handbrake's housing when mounting.

1. Reattach the cover. Make sure that the rear part is placed in the correct gap.
2. Reinsert the bolts previously removed and tighten using the included 2.5 mm Allen key (g).

1. Remove the bolts on the front using the included 2.5 mm Allen key (g).
2. Lift the cover.

When mounting the ClubSport Handbrake V2 to an aluminium profile rig, adjust the position of the Handbrake lever to either suit vertical or horizontal mounting.

Slide the included T-nuts (m) into your profile.

Place your handbrake on the profile and align the T-nuts with the mounting slots.

Note: connect the included RJ12 cable before mounting the handbrake.

Attach the handbrake with the included M6 bolts (j) with M6 washers (l). Adjust the swivel angle before tightening. Tighten using the included 4 mm Allen key (f).

2. Reinsert the bolts previously removed and tighten using the included 2.5 mm Allen key (g).

To connect the ClubSport Handbrake V2, plug in the included RJ12 cable (d) on the bottom. The handbrake can be connected to:

• A: The “HANDBRAKE” port on your Fanatec Wheel Base

• B: The “HANDBRAKE” port on your ClubSport Pedals V3 / V3 Inverted and CSL Elite Pedals V2

• C: Directly to PC via USB using the included ClubSport USB Adapter (n)

Select the device which currently shows the USB symbol next to it.

Click on "CHANGE MODE OF USB ADAPTER".

Select "ClubSport Handbrake", click on "Start Update" and wait until the process is completed.

Open the Fanatec App and navigate to the update tab in the top right.

Select "Manual Firmware Update".

Click on "Change Adapter Mode / Manual Firmware Update".

Select "ClubSport Handbrake" and click on "Start Update".

Once the update is complete, close the Firmware Manager.

1. Remove the bolts on the front using the included 2.5 mm Allen key (g).
2. Lift the cover.

No spacer installed:
80 mm lever travel

“60” installed (facing towards the front of the handbrake):
60 mm lever travel

“70” installed (facing towards the front of the handbrake):
70 mm lever travel

Important: Make sure that at least 1 mm of the bolt thread is still visible after adjusting the lever angle.

Fine-tune the lever angle using the included wrench (i) by turning the nut in the back of the handbrake.

Turning the nut counter-clockwise tilts the lever forward by about 5 mm from the initial position.

Turning the nut clockwise tilts the lever backward by about 5 mm from the initial position.

Adjust the handbrake’s load cell preload using the included 4 mm Allen key (f).

Turning counter-clockwise will increase the preload strength.

Turning clockwise will decrease the preload strength.

1. Reattach the cover. Make sure that the rear part is placed in the correct gap.
2. Reinsert the bolts previously removed and tighten using the included 2.5 mm Allen key (g).
