Guide to the Fanatec ClubSport Racing Wheel F1®

The ClubSport Racing Wheel F1® is the perfect wheel to jump into the thrilling world of virtual Formula racing. Officially licensed by Formula 1®, the iconic 270 mm ClubSport Formula wheel features a stunning blue forged carbon finish with perforated leather grips. It will give you immersion like no other and works seamlessly on Sony’s PlayStation® 5 and PlayStation ®4 consoles, as well as PC.

The ClubSport DD+ Base uses the latest direct drive technology from Fanatec:

• Officially licensed for PlayStation®5 consoles and PlayStation®4 consoles
• 15 Nm consistent torque
• FullForce technology
• Passively cooled
• High-resolution (contactless) Hall-position-sensor
• Rotation: 2520 degrees (electronically limited, adjustable)
• Slip ring system (life-tested for thousands of hours) provides cable-free delivery of power and data between Steering Wheel and Wheel Base without the need for a mechanical limiter (allows for high steering angle settings)
• T-nut rail system on sides and bottom for easily adjustable hard-mounting

The included ClubSport DD+ is fully compatible with PC and works on PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 consoles. It is compatible with entire Fanatec ecosystem (see Compatibility section for details).

• Begin by securely mounting the ClubSport DD+ Base to your cockpit, like the ClubSport GT Cockpit, or desk using the ClubSport DD Table Clamp, to ensure a stable and sturdy setup.
• Attach your steering wheel to the base using the quick release. The QR2 system ensures that the wheel is tightly connected to the base, while being easy to remove in an instant.

• Download and install the Fanatec App.
• Once the software is installed, connect the ClubSport DD+ to your PC and run the setup tool to ensure that the base is recognized and ready to go.
• Note: The ClubSport Racing Wheel F1® will be ready to play on PS5 and PS4 out of the box, however it is recommended to check for updates by connecting it to a Windows PC and using the Fanatec App.

• Proper calibration is key to achieving the best and most realistic performance from your base. Use the Fanatec App to calibrate the base to set the steering sensitivity and center calibration.
• Additionally, set the force feedback strength according to your preferences. Adjust additional parameters such as natural friction, inertia, or damping to find the ideal behavior for your preferences.
• If you do not have access to a Windows PC, all important parameters can also directly be set via your steering wheel in the Tuning Menu.

If you want a complete setup or are upgrading from your previous gear, you could also consider the ClubSport Racing Wheel F1® + CSL Elite V2 Ready2Race Bundle. The included CSL Elite Pedals V2 feature a highly and easily customizable load cell brake, delivering an even more realistic racing feel. The pedals can also be set up in a 2-pedal configuration – mimicking a real Formula 1® car.

If you want to get even more functionality out of your steering wheel, it can be upgraded with the Podium Advanced Paddle Module. This module replaces the preinstalled ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module and adds two clutch paddles and two smaller paddles above the standard shifters – perfect for functions such as DRS activation or ERS deployment. Additionally, the clutch paddles can also be set to act as throttle and brake or mappable analogue axes.
