If you are an avid rally or drift racer, having a dedicated handbrake in your sim setup is a must. It can give you exact control over your car in intense moments, thus make you faster, and add to the immersion in your rig. The ClubSport Handbrake V2 offers not only an elegant design with smooth and precise input, but also plenty of adjustability and wide compatibility.
ClubSport Handbrake V2 Features
Coming from the popular ClubSport Handbrake V1.5, the ClubSport Handbrake V2 has been totally redesigned. Constructed from cast and CNC-machined metal, the handbrake is strong and robust and will handle even the most extreme scenarios. At the core of the the handbrake resides a precision load cell sensor delivering smooth, consistent analogue input – also helped by ball bearings on the pivot point. If you prefer, the rubber grip can also be easily removed.
Adjustability
The ClubSport Handbrake V2 offers multiple possibilities for adjustment to best suit your preferences:
- Adjustable preload (to adjust the force needed for 100% brake activation)
- Three angle positions
- Invertible orientation
- Fine angle tuning via rear bolt assembly
- Travel adjustment using removable spacer (60, 70, and 80 mm)
Compatibility
The ClubSport Handbrake V2 is compatible and plug-and-play with all current Fanatec wheel bases and most older CSL Elite and ClubSport wheel bases. It is fully compatible with PC, as well as Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S consoles (when used with a compatible steering wheel) and PlayStation®4/5 consoles (when used with a compatible wheel base).

Setup
Mounting
The ClubSport Handbrake V2 can be mounted in several ways
- To an aluminium profile rig or suitable mounting surface
- To the ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5
Connection
The Handbrake can be connected directly to the “Handbrake” RJ12 port of our Fanatec wheel base.
It can also be connected to the Handbrake port of the following Fanatec pedals:
- CSL Elite Pedals Load Cell Kit
- CSL Elite Pedals V2
- ClubSport Pedals V3
- ClubSport Pedals V3 inverted
For standalone use on PC via USB, ClubSport USB Adapter is required.
Updates
Before using your ClubSport Handbrake V2, we recommend updating your wheel base firmware for maximum compatibility. Download the latest driver or the Fanatec App from Fanatec.com and simply run the firmware updater when new firmware is available.
When using the ClubSport USB Adapter, make sure it is set to “Handbrake Mode”.
