Can I run CarX Drift Racing Online?

The minimum and recommended system requirements for CarX Drift Racing Online are quite low by today’s standards, so getting the game to run well should be relatively easy on moderately equipped PCs. As is usual with PC gaming though, with better specs, you will be able to run the game on higher graphical settings and higher framerates.

The game supports VR, too. So especially when you want to race in virtual reality, you should aim for the recommended settings or even higher, since the game will basically have to render each frame twice.

If you plan to use the game with a multi-monitor setup or an ultrawide, you should also aim for higher PC specs than minimum if you want to race with high graphical settings and framerate.

What sim setup is best for CarX Drift Racing Online?

A direct drive wheel base like the CSL DD, ClubSport DD+, or Podium Wheel Base DD1/2 is perfect for drift racing, giving you immediate feedback thanks to the motor designs and high slew rates. This way, you will immediately be able to react to your car and have more control than with older belt- or gear-driven wheel bases.

Since your steering wheel naturally rotates quite a lot while drifting, you should get a round wheel to always be in full control. The CSL Elite Steering Wheel P1 V2 offers a great entry point when you are just starting out or getting into drift racing. If you want a steering wheel dedicated and specifically designed for drifting, the ClubSport Steering Wheel Drift V2 is a perfect match.

When choosing pedals, a three-pedal set with a dedicated clutch is recommended. CSL Elite Pedals V2 give you a lot of flexibility, including to mount them inverted (if your rig supports it) for an even more realistic setup. If you want to have your pedals already inverted from the get-go (for use on a floor or for bottom mounting them to a pedal plate) the ClubSport Pedals V3 Inverted might just be what you are looking for.

To get the most out of your drift experience, also consider a dedicated handbrake (find out more how to best use a handbrake here) and shifter.
