Whenever racers want to get absorbed into an open world driving experience with stunning vistas, unique challenges, and a plethora of cars – Forza Horizon 5 offers all that and more.
Originally conceived as a spin off series of the popular Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon has gained immense popularity, not just among racers, but gamers in general.
To get the most out of the experience, make sure that your PC is up to the task.
Forza Horizon 5 is an open world racing game like no other on the market. It has the biggest map in the series’ history with a diverse set of environments. Set in a fictional version of Mexico, you can race in 11 unique biomes - including a canyon, tropical coast, arid hills, jungle, urban city, and even a volcano. Features like weather events and dynamic seasons enhance the experience even further.
Evenly impressive is the number and variety of vehicles in the game. When fully specced out, you’ll have access to around 900 cars. These range from classics to, cult cars, GT cars, rally, offroad, Hypercars and much more.
You can either challenge yourself in a fleshed-out campaign with hundreds of challenges or meet other racers online in the social open world.
Besides PC, Forza Horizon 5 is also playable on Xbox Series X|S. If you have a Fanatec wheel base, adding an Xbox compatible steering wheel like the CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC or ClubSport Steering Wheel GT3 Endurance for Xbox will get you compatibility right out of the box.
Forza Horizon 5 has also been released on PlayStation 5. On PS5, you can use any Fanatec steering wheel, provided you have a PS-compatible wheel base like the Gran Turismo® DD Pro, or the ClubSport DD+.
For both, every Fanatec pedal set will work, and you can even expand your rig with add-ons like a shifter or handbrake. To learn more about compatibility, dive into the flexibility offered by the Fanatec ecosystem.
