NASCAR 25 System Requirements and Recommended Specs

Last updated:

NASCAR is synonymous with high-speed, close-quarters racing at break-neck speeds. Its roots date back to the 1930s and 40s - giving it a unique identity, with cars that resemble street vehicles and a fanbase deeply connected to U.S. traditions and American stock car culture. Having long been an integral part in the industry benchmark for competitive online sim racing – iRacing – the developer brings the thrill of this one-of-a-kind racing series to PC and consoles with NASCAR 25.

Can I run NASCAR 25?

Being a recent game, NASCAR 25 requires a relatively decent PC – but in no way a high-end system. It will already run well on more affordable gaming systems and older builds. Since every PC is different, you might have to tinker with the settings a bit to find your perfect balance between graphical fidelity and performance.

If you race on console, you will of course not have to worry about anything since the game will be optimised for those from the get-go.

What do I need to start racing?

Playing on PC, you can freely choose from anything the Fanatec Ecosystem offers and combine whatever components you wish.

For PlayStation®5, be sure that your wheel base is compatible with the console. Fanatec offers various options, like the Gran Turismo® DD Pro and ClubSport DD+. With these bases, you can connect any Fanatec steering wheel, pedal set, and add-ons and have them work seamlessly.

I you play on Xbox Series consoles, any wheel base will work. Just make sure though to use a steering wheel designed for Xbox. Fanatec offers a variety of pre-configured bundles. If you want to build you own wheel, the ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox will be you starting point. It allows you to attach any wheel rim that has the correct bolt pattern (find out more in our Quick Start Guide).
If your wheel is compatible with Xbox, you can also just connect any other Fanatec product and start racing right away.
