How to Set Up the Fanatec CSL Cockpit

• Begin with the main frame using the provided bolts.
• Attach the seat slider if you’re using a compatible racing seat.
• Mount the wheelbase bracket and pedal plate loosely at first so you can adjust positioning later.

Pro tip: Build the rig in the location where you plan to use it, as moving it afterward can be cumbersome once fully assembled.

A good seating position is vital for comfort and control. Fanatec recommends a 100–110° recline angle for GT-style driving. Your knees should be slightly bent with your heels resting comfortably on the pedals.

If your cockpit includes a universal seat bracket, mount your racing seat using the provided side rails. Most FIA-rated seats are compatible.

• Mount your monitor using the VESA-compatible bracket, ideally aligning the center of the screen with your eye level.
• The shifter bracket can be mounted on either side depending on your preference and provides a sturdy base for H-pattern or sequential shifters.
