Fanatec CSL Universal Hub V2 Width Adjustment

The CSL Universal Hub V2 is a versatile addition to the Fanatec ecosystem. It handles rims from 270 – 330 mm and features a sliding mechanism to fine-tune paddle width and button box positioning. Ideal for different driving styles—whether you prefer F1, GT, or racing simulators—it's all about personal fit and comfort.

Built as the successor to the original CSL Universal Hub, the V2 introduces better materials, improved rigidity, and an easier mounting system. With wide compatibility across Fanatec wheel bases and aftermarket rims, it's especially useful for those who switch between rim types or want a cleaner, more ergonomic setup without needing tools or adapters.

Thanks to the stepless slider, you can adjust the hub’s button islands and paddle positions up to 60 mm. This allows precise custom placement without needing tools—just loosen the bolts slightly and slide the modules horizontally. Tighten them once aligned. The result? A cockpit setup that feels uniquely yours.

Attaching the hub is simple and tool-free via the Simplified Quick Release Adapter (SQRA). Make sure the alignment line is visible before sliding it onto the base, then tighten by hand until secure. Only a few turns, no torque wrench needed.

With additional metal bracing, the V2 gains about 23% more rigidity than its predecessor. The enhanced shifter paddles, featuring honeycomb reinforcement and spring-loaded action, provide improved comfort and tactile feedback—plus reliable resistance during aggressive driving.

• Compatible with all Fanatec wheel rims (3×50 mm or 6×70 mm bolt patterns) and many third-party rims (MOMO, Sparco, OMP).
• Works seamlessly with ClubSport DD+/DD, Podium DD1/2, CSL Elite bases—even discs in High Torque Mode with metal QR1 wheel side.
• Note: heavy rims (like 350 mm ClubSport) may affect force feedback sharpness on lighter bases like CSL DD. For best results, pair it with 300–330 mm rims.

1. Loosen both hex bolts and nuts on either side of the button box modules.
2. Slide modules symmetrically to your preferred position.
3. Tighten carefully—use only the included hex (3 mm) and wrench (8 mm). Do not overtighten clamping nut.
