The Fanatec Wheel Hub is a simplified and affordable way to connect your third-party steering wheel to a Fanatec Base. Featuring 6 x 70 mm and 6 x 50.8 mm mounting patterns.

Special Notes
  • This product allows a Fanatec Base to detect that a wheel has been attached but it does not transmit data or supply power to the wheel. USB‑based wheels must still be connected directly to the PC with their own cable. A few third‑party wheels include built‑in batteries and offer wireless PC connectivity such as Bluetooth – these operate independently of the Fanatec Hub.
  • This product does not support Fanatec Button Clusters, Button Modules, or Paddle Modules.

FAQs

Who is this product for?
This product (or another Fanatec Hub like Podium Hub or ClubSport Universal Hub) is necessary if you wish to use a third-party steering wheel with a Fanatec Base. Regular, self-contained Fanatec Steering Wheels do not require Hubs.

Does this allow USB pass-through?
No, this product simply allows a Fanatec Base to recognize that a wheel has been attached, which activates the force feedback. It does not provide data or power to the wheel. For USB wheels, an external cable must be connected separately to the PC.

Why is this product not compatible with PlayStation? I thought PlayStation compatibility was determined by the Base?
This product is not functional even when combined with a PlayStation-licensed Base, because it does not support button inputs. The lack of a PS-button prevents the device from being recognized as an active controller.
