The final event of the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship starts now, and we're back in Formula 1's Media & Technology Centre at Biggin Hill for the final three races.

The driver's championship is being dominated by Otis Lawrence, with Freddie Rasmussen needing some huge results to stage a comeback. The team championship is poised for a close battle between Alpine Sim Racing and Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing, awaiting a glorious showdown in Mexico, Brazil, and Abi Dhabi.

Event 3 roundup

The opener at Spa-Francorchamps proved to be a solid win for Racing Bulls, securing a dominant 1-2 finish in challenging mixed weather conditions.

In Round 8 at Zandvoort, Bari Broumand patiently waited until the final lap to pass Frederik Rasmussen for his first win of the season.

In Round 9, Rasmussen took the chequered flag, but was handed a 5-second penalty for an unsafe pit exit, allowing Otis Lawrence to achieve his third win, extending his championship lead. His Alpine teammate Dani Bereznay held a solid 2nd place, and strong performance from Nicolas Longuet for Williams grabbed the final podium position.

Fanatec hardware across the grid

Fanatec hardware continues to form the foundation of the F1 Sim Racing World Championship setup.

Drivers compete using the ClubSport Racing Wheel F1® package, consisting of the ClubSport DD+ Base, now capable of up to 18 Nm holding torque following the recent firmware upgrade, and an officially licensed F1 steering wheel, with most drivers opting for the Podium Advanced Paddle Module (sold separately). They use CSL Elite Pedals V2 in a two-pedal configuration, with everything installed on the ClubSport FormulaCockpit with custom liveries created by each team. (The sim rig itself is currently only sold for event use and is not available for home users.)
