Fanatec’s special event on April 28, 2026 announced new products and included a few surprises for existing customers. Also confirmed was pricing and availability for the upcoming Podium Pedals.
The ClubSport Formula wheel has been part of the Fanatec range for nearly 15 years. The new Formula V3 builds on that foundation with refinements to size, layout, and controls.
The diameter increases to 290 mm, around 20 mm wider than before, with adjustments aimed at improving comfort across all inputs. The larger size is more comfortable, and suits driving a wider range of race cars. A larger display supports Intelligent Telemetry Mode, allowing drivers to cycle through data such as lap times, deltas, and tyre information.
Control inputs have been refined throughout:
Grips are now user-replaceable, and it’s one of many hidden refinements that improve usability and performance.
Fanatec has supported third-party steering wheels since the introduction of the ClubSport Universal Hub in 2014. The new Fanatec Wheel Hub is the first product developed specifically for that purpose.
The design is more compact, with support for both 6 x 70 mm and 6 x 50.8 mm mounting patterns. The aim is to simplify the process of building a custom setup, with compatibility for most third-party wheel options.
Fanatec is also working with selected steering wheel partners to establish this as a standard integration point. The Wheel Hub launches at the original QR2 Wheel-Side price, with a permanent reduction applied to the QR2 Wheel-Side itself.
Fanatec also confirmed pricing and availability for the Podium Pedals. The set will launch at 699.95 EUR, with the same price applied to both the three-pedal configuration and the two-pedal Formula version, which includes carbon components.
This pricing reflects a focused development effort aimed at delivering high-end performance within a more accessible bracket for the Podium range.
Pricing (regional):
Alongside new hardware, Fanatec outlined several updates for existing products. A forthcoming driver update will increase holding torque on the ClubSport DD from 12 Nm to 15 Nm, and on the ClubSport DD+ from 15 Nm to 18 Nm.
FullForce support is also approaching for CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel bases, extending the feature set across more of the lineup.
