Guide to Fanatec's ClubSport Formula V3

With the ClubSport Formula V3, Fanatec offers a refined version of the ClubSport Steering Wheel V2.5. Bringing updates like a larger diameter, improved thumb encoders, more inputs and a bigger OLED screen, the newest iteration of this iconic wheel is a great companion not only for formula-style racing, but also disciplines like GT or LMP.

Note: This wheel uses a QR2 quick release; it is also compatible with QR1 (the ClubSport Formula V3 only comes with QR2. As QR1 has been discontinued, you may need to source an alternative independently).

• PC: This Steering Wheel is compatible with Windows PC (depending on game support) on compatible Fanatec Bases and connected peripherals.
• PlayStation®: This Steering Wheel becomes compatible with PlayStation® when connected to a compatible, PlayStation®-licensed Fanatec Base.
• Xbox: This Steering Wheel is not compatible with Xbox.

Download and install the Fanatec App (Windows PC required).

After installing the Fanatec App, open it and make sure that your Base and Steering Wheel firmware are up-to-date. If new firmware is available, a red dot will be displayed next to the firmware icon. Click on the icon to open the Firmware Manager and simply follow the instructions.

The app allows you to customize your settings. You can also adjust your wheel base settings like force feedback, steering wheel sensitivity, FullForce (Base-dependent), Multi-Position Switch mode, and more. All these settings can also be accessed directly via the Tuning Menu on your Steering Wheel without being connected to a PC.

Via both the Fanatec App and the Tuning Menu on your Wheel, you can switch between five different Intelligent Telemetry Mode (ITM) screens. The Formula V3’s 2.7” OLED screen can show info such as last lap time, fuel, tire and oil temperatures, tractions control settings, and more
