After its surprise announcement at SimRacing Expo, Assetto Corsa Rally (ACR) is now available as an early access title on Steam. With first impressions in the community being very positive, the game is already shaping up to be a new benchmark when it comes to Rally sims. For you to get the most out of your experience on track, Fanatec offers several steering wheels perfectly suited for ACR.
If you are on a limited budget or are just getting into sim rallying, the CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC is a great way to jump in. With the integrated RevStripe and three-digit LED screen, important information like your motor’s rpm and current gear are clearly visible at a quick glance. The shifter paddles can also be removed – ideal if you are using a separate shifter like the ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5. Due to the wheel’s lightweight construction, it is also perfectly suited for wheel bases with a lower torque output, still providing you with crucial and finely detailed feedback on your car and the track.
If you want to have a racing experience really close to the real deal, the ClubSport Steering Wheel RS will get you there. With its realistic 320 mm diameter, the wheel is perfectly suited for a wide variety of Rally cars. The larger diameter provides improved precision when driving on low-grip surfaces, and the fully round shape provides excellent balance and ergonomic comfort. The wheel comes with Fanatec’s Magnetic Paddle Module right out of the box, and can even be upgraded to the Podium Advanced Paddle Module for even more functionality.
If you’re aiming for the most authentic virtual rally experience possible, the Podium Steering Wheel Monte Carlo Rally brings you closer than anything else. Built around the real Sparco R383 wheel rim and the Podium Button Module Rally, this combination has helped Rally legend Sébastian Loeb secure his 80th victory at the 2022 Monte Carlo Rally, and was present in the 2022–2023 Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 WRC. The Button Module Rally not only provides you with telemetry data via its integrated OLED screen but also has smartly laid-out inputs with nine RGB LED-backlit buttons, two D-pads, and three 12-way multi-position switches with rotary encoder option.
To find even more options that are perfectly suited for Assetto Corsa Rally, you can visit our dedicated section at Fanatec.com. It includes standalone wheels, wheel bundles, add-ons and more.
You can also build your own steering wheel from scratch thanks to Fanatec’s ecosystem. With a CSL Universal Hub V2, ClubSport Universal Hub V2, or Podium Hub for example, you’ll be able to attach any steering wheel that has a fitting hole pattern – including third party offerings from brands like Sparco, Momo, or OMP.
