Can I use Fanatec products without update?

Hello.
I was bought CSW v2.5 + P1 Steergin wheel + cls pedals with l/c add-on. In manual I was found that it must be updated before first start.
But I haven't PC, only mac and xbox.
Can I start racing without updating?

    You can use the firmware the base came with just fine. The latest recommended drivers are suggested as they help improve the products and resolve possible issues in previous drivers.

    Maybe look into borrowing a PC from a friend or use Windows 10 under Mac Boot Camp.
