CSW 2.5 O-Ring Replacement
I recently purchased the Porsche 918 rim
and it fits way more snug than any of my other rims. I was having to pull
with quite a bit of force to get it on and off the base each time I wanted to swap rims. After several weeks
of doing so, I've notice there are chunks taken out of
the o-ring in different places.
I lubricated the o-ring some and the rim was able to go and on and off much easier but I fear the damage has already been done as now I can feel a little bit of play instead of the normal solid mount. It's not a huge issue but really bothers me and I understand it could be bad for the pins.
Unfortunately I cannot find the spare that shipped with my wheel base. Has anyone else ever ran into the issue? Would Fanatec sell me a replacement o-ring?
