How to get McLaren GT3 Recenter?

Instructions say to press small button and it will say “settings.” It does not, but says “Set 1.” Then it says to hold funky button and Xbox button at same time but nothing happens, and it’s still not centered. What am I doing wrong?

This has to be done on a PC preferably, so you can see what happens in the Fanatec Wheel Control Panel. When the wheel is not centered properly, the wheel angle slider in the Fanatec Wheel Control Panel will show a non-zero value when the steering wheel itself is actually centered.

The first step is to center the steering wheel yourself if it's not in the center position yet. Then activate the settings menu on the steering wheel. That it shows "Set1" instead of "settings" does not matter. You then have to press the funky button and the XBox button at the same time (I usually first press and hold the funky button, then press the XBox button). The result will be that the wheel angle slider value will reset to zero. If it doesn't work the first time, try again as the timing of pressing both buttons at the same time may be a little tight.
