Fanatec Brings Hands-On Sim Racing to the 24H of Le Mans 2025

This year marks the first time that Fanatec is present at the legendary 24H of Le Mans. Thanks to our great collaboration with Ford Performance, you can try our products exclusively in their hospitality area and experience the thrill of Le Mans in a unique atmosphere.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the most prestigious and demanding endurance races in the world, held annually since 1923. Known for its unique format, it features multiple car classes competing on the track at the same time, testing the limits of both drivers and machines over a full 24-hour period.

This year, Ford is competing in the LMGT3 class with their Mustang GT3, and to match that, we’ve brought a GT-style simulator setup to the event. Our simulators are running Le Mans Ultimate, the officially licensed game of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC)—the very series that includes Le Mans. With every official car and circuit available, the experience gets you as close to real-world racing as possible. Each cockpit is outfitted with our most powerful wheelbase, the Podium Wheel Base DD2 with QR2, a proven powerhouse that continues to set the benchmark in sim racing performance.

Each simulator is equipped with a high-end, feature-rich steering system built around our ClubSport Wheel Rim 320, paired with the Podium Button Module Endurance, Podium Advanced Paddle Module, and Podium Hub. This setup delivers a premium GT-style experience and has been proven in competitive settings—it's the exact configuration used in the GT World Challenge eSports Series, trusted by top sim racers worldwide.

For the pedal set, we’re using our proven ClubSport Pedals V3, enhanced with the Brake Performance Kit. These pedals are a favorite among sim racers for good reason—they offer a wide range of adjustability, integrated vibration motors for brake and throttle feedback, and a load cell brake system that closely mimics the pressure-based braking feel of a real GT3 car. This gives drivers a much more authentic and intuitive control experience, especially under trail braking and threshold braking conditions, making them an excellent choice for replicating the demands of endurance racing.

A great alternative steering wheel for GT racing is the Podium Steering Wheel GT3 Endurance is a refined evolution of Fanatec’s endurance racing hardware, developed to better reflect the shape and ergonomics of a modern GT3 steering wheel. Built around the Podium Button Module Endurance, the setup includes the Podium Hub, Podium Advanced Paddle Module, and the newly designed ClubSport Wheel Rim GT3 Endurance—a 318 mm rim with overmolded rubber grips for long-session comfort and a feel similar to the Podium BMW M4 GT3 wheel. It also comes with customizable sticker sheets for personalizing the button layout. Positioned between the entry-level CSL Elite McLaren GT3 V2 and the high-end Podium BMW M4 GT3 wheel, this steering wheel offers a premium GT3 experience. An Xbox-compatible version is also available, using the ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox.
