The FANATEC® ecosystem is unique in both variety and flexibility. Create your perfect setup, for PC and consoles.

PC means total freedom

Let’s start with the easy part. The PC is the most open and flexible gaming platform for sim racing, and as a result, ALL Fanatec products are compatible with Windows PC. You can combine almost any current Fanatec hardware together for PC use. Check the individual product pages for more details.

Unparalleled console compatibility

Fanatec hardware includes licensed products for XBOX and PlayStation systems. When combined together, they can support both console families as well as PC.

XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S

Our XBOX-licensed products are all Steering Wheels. The XBOX security chip is located inside the steering wheel itself. By connecting an XBOX-licensed Steering Wheel to any Fanatec Wheel Base, the entire set of connected Fanatec hardware becomes XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S compatible. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

Through partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment, our officially-licensed PS4 products work seamlessly with all PS4 systems. Speciality peripherals, including all our officially-licensed PS4 products, work with PS5 and supported PS4 games, as confirmed by Sony. The PlayStation security chip is always located inside the Wheel Base. Any Fanatec product connected to a PlayStation-licensed Wheel Base also becomes compatible. Multi-platform possibilities

If you combine any XBOX-licensed Steering Wheel with any PlayStation-licensed Wheel Base, all connected Fanatec hardware becomes compatible with both XBOX and PlayStation systems. And of course, all combinations work on PC too.

Because our Wheel Bases act as a central hub for all Fanatec devices, you can connect every component directly to the Wheel Base and use a single USB cable connection to your PC or console (on consoles, a single USB connection is mandatory). For example, if you connect a ClubSport Shifter SQ to a CSL Elite Wheel Base +, the Shifter will also function on PS4 and PS5.

Pay attention to the platform labels. There are five variations:

PC: This product is compatible with PC.
XBOX: This product is compatible with XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S.
XBOX Ready: This product becomes compatible with XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S systems when combined with an XBOX-licensed Steering Wheel.
