Project Motor Racing – Find Your Setup

With Project Motor Racing (PMR), publisher GIANTS Software – known for the extremely popular Farming Simulator series – now also commits to sim racing. Developed by the industry veterans at Straight4 Studios, the game is set to become a new favorite among speed enthusiasts on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Arguably the most important aspect of any racing game, PMR gives special attention to the car handling and physics. Handling has been thoroughly tested by the development team and some of the world’s best real and sim racing pros. An equal effort has been made to deliver a realistic physics engine, with a new modular vehicle dynamics platform created specifically from the ground-up for Project Motor Racing and paired with dynamic and adaptive track surfaces.

The game features both single-player and online play. Carrer mode will put your skills to the test and demand the most of your abilities on- and off-track.
In multiplayer, you’ll be able to create custom lobbies, take part in social and ranked racing and more – all without the need for any subscriptions or premium passes by the game itself. Multiplayer also supports cross-play so you can connect with your fellow racers no matter whether you play on PC or consoles.

From the start, Project Motor Racing offers 70 cars from different classes and eras and 28 scanned, global track layouts. Future DLC and user generated content (mods) will expand this sim even further.

On PC, you can freely choose and combine components from the whole Fanatec Ecosystem. You can either start out with a budget friendly set up like the CSL DD, CSL Pedals, and CSL Steering Wheel P1 – or go for a more advanced rig like a ClubSport DD Wheel Base, ClubSport Steering Wheel RS, and CSL Elite Pedals V2.

For PS5®, to ensure full compatibility of your Fanatec products, all you need is a PlayStation® compatible wheel base, like the Gran Turismo® DD Pro or ClubSport DD+. With these bases, you can combine any Fanatec steering wheel, pedals, shifter, etc. – giving you countless possibilities depending only on your personal preferences.

If you're playing on Xbox Series consoles, any Fanatec wheel base is compatible. However, be sure to use a steering wheel specifically designed for Xbox. If you prefer to customize your setup, the ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox serves as the ideal starting point. It enables you to attach any wheel rim with a compatible bolt pattern. As long as your steering wheel is Xbox-compatible, you can seamlessly connect any other Fanatec product and begin racing immediately.
