With the ClubSport GT Cockpit, Fanatec offers a highly adjustable and innovative sim racing cockpit. Bottom Mounting
Right out of the box, the GT Cockpit is compatible with all Fanatec wheel bases and most third-party offerings. The included mounting plate has pre-drilled holes that accommodate a wide range of different mounting patterns. With its sturdy steel construction, it is suited for basically every wheel base – from entry level low-torque, to high-end, high-torque direct drive bases. The mounting plate also allows for height adjustment, as well as quick and tool-free angle and distance adjustment.
Front Mounting
If you prefer to have your wheel base front-mounted, you can swap the standard mounting plate with the GT Cockpit Direct Drive Front Mount. This optional accessory for third-party front mounted direct drive wheel bases is constructed from 5mm thick steel and fits between the steering brackets of the GT Cockpit. Just as the standard mounting plate, it allows for the same adjustment of height, angle, and distance. The GT Cockpit thus becomes even more versatile, making it the perfect rig for every wheel base and driving style.
(Note: The GT Cockpit Direct Drive Mount is not compatible with Fanatec wheel bases)
Other mounting possibilities
Besides the sturdy wheel base mounting systems, the GT Cockpit of course comes with a highly adjustable pedal plate with height and angle adjustments, as well as a quickly adjustable sliding mechanism to move the pedals back and forth. This pedal plate is also compatible with most pedal sets on the market. It can even be converted for using inverted pedals with the GT Cockpit Inverted Pedal Mount, making it a perfect fit for old school GT racing, road cars, drifting or heel-and-toe driving. It can also be used to elevate the pedals for Formula-style driving.
