The ClubSport DD and ClubSport DD+ wheel bases are the latest and most sophisticated bases in Fanatec’s ecosystem. Both feature state of the art motors and electronics and deliver industry-leading performance in their class. Their thermal stability and cooling performance guarantee that you will always have a consistent torque output in challenging scenarios and long racing stints. And with Fanatec’s FullForce, sim racers will be able to feel more of the road and car than ever before.
From the outside, there is hardly a way to distinguish between the two wheel bases. There is however a difference regarding torque output – so the rotational force your steering wheel delivers to your hands. This is measured in Newton meters (Nm).
The ClubSport DD delivers 12 Nm of consistent torque performance. This is usually enough for a lot of sim racers and will cover the forces produced in many real-world racing disciplines.
The ClubSport DD+ delivers 15 Nm of consistent torque. With this amount of extra headroom, the DD+ is even more responsive. The higher torque output can also be beneficial when very heavy steering wheels are being used or if cars without power steering are being simulated.
Note: A few steering wheels will not be able to operate the wheel bases at their full torque levels. Check the specific product descriptions on Fanatec.com
The ClubSport DD is compatible with Windows PC. It can also be made compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One® consoles when an Xbox-licensed steering wheel is attached.
The ClubSport DD+ is fully compatible with PC and works on PlayStation® 5 and PlayStation® 4 consoles. The DD+ is also compatible with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One® consoles when a suitable steering wheel is being used.
Setting up the ClubSport DD and ClubSport DD+ works basically the same for both wheel bases.
