Terms & Conditions

1. Organizer

The Black Falcon Livery Design Competition (the "Competition") is organized by Fanatec (the "Organizer") in cooperation with selected retail partners and BLACK FALCON.

2. Eligibility

  • Participation is open to individuals aged 18 years or older, unless otherwise permitted by local law.
  • Employees of the Organizer, BLACK FALCON, participating retailers, and affiliated companies are excluded from participation.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants who violate these Terms & Conditions.

3. Competition Period

  • Submission period: July 3 – July 30
  • Finalist selection: Early August
  • Winner selection and announcement: August

Submissions received outside of the stated period will not be considered.

4. Participation Requirements

To enter the Competition, participants must:

  • Publish their livery design via Instagram (additional platform options may vary depending on participating retailer)
  • Include the required tags:
    • #blackfalcon_liverycomp
    • Participating retailer (e.g., @fanatec_official + your local retailer, if applicable)
  • Ensure the post is publicly visible at the time of qualifying

By submitting an entry, participants:

  • Agree that the Organizer may repost, share, or otherwise use their submission across owned and partner channels for promotional purposes

5. Submission Guidelines

Multiple entries: Participants may submit multiple entries.

Accepted submission formats:

  • In-game screenshots
  • Renders
  • Hand-drawn or digital sketches

Design recommendations:

  • Submissions should be based on a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) or equivalent vehicle model.
  • Participants are encouraged to create clean designs, avoiding excessive branding.
  • Use of third-party sponsor logos is discouraged. Preferred submissions include Fanatec, BLACK FALCON, XXL Nutrition, Bilstein and Dunlop branding only.
  • Find Fanatec Logos and Branding here.
  • Existing logos and branding must remain in the same position and size. If you are unable to add logos to your design, they will be added to the final livery. The Organizer and/or BLACK FALCON reserves the right to make such modifications, amendments, or adjustments as may be necessary to accommodate any requirements of this nature.

6. Content Restrictions

Submissions must not contain:

  • Discriminatory, hateful, or offensive content
  • Political messaging or symbols
  • Any unlawful or inappropriate material

The Organizer reserves the right to remove or disqualify any submission that violates these requirements at its sole discretion.

7. Selection Process

  • All valid entries will be reviewed by the Organizer and/or participating retailers
  • The Organizer and participating retailers will select one finalist each
  • A shortlist of finalists will be selected based on criteria including creativity, feasibility, and branding requirements.
  • One (1) winner will be selected from the finalists.
  • The Organizer's/retailers' decision is final and not subject to appeal.
  • To ensure a fair competition, all entries must be created entirely by the participant. Any design generated or assisted by generative AI tools will be excluded from judging and will not qualify as a finalist or winning entry. The Organizer reserves the right to request supporting source files, work-in-progress materials, or other evidence of authorship to verify compliance with this requirement.

8. Prize

The winning participant will receive:

  • Application of the winning livery on a real BLACK FALCON race car for at least one Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) event
  • One (1) Fanatec ClubSport GT3 Wheel featuring the winning design
  • Signature of BLACK FALCON drivers on the wheel
  • Public design credit on:
    • The race car livery
    • Fanatec and partner communication channels

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

9. Rights & Usage

By participating in the Competition, participants:

  • Grant the Organizer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the submitted designs for marketing and commercial purposes, including paid advertising
  • Confirm that they are the original creator of the submitted design and hold all necessary rights

The winner agrees:

  • That the Organizer may adapt or modify the final design as required for production or commercial use
  • To be named and credited publicly across media channels (including social media, websites, and newsletters)

10. Social Media & Promotion Rights

By submitting an entry using the required tags, participants grant the Organizer, participating retailers, and partners permission to:

  • Repost
  • Share
  • Feature
  • Promote submitted content

This includes use across all marketing and communication channels, including paid content.

11. Logo Integration & Final Design Adjustments

  • The Organizer reserves the right to add mandatory sponsor or partner logos (including but not limited to Dunlop, Bilstein and XXL Nutrition) to the winning design.
  • Additional adjustments may be made to ensure technical feasibility and regulatory compliance in motorsport applications.

12. Prize Restrictions

The Organizer reserves the right to refuse or limit prize fulfillment in regions where legal, logistical, or regulatory restrictions apply. This includes, but is not limited to, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Libya, the Republic of the Congo, Somalia, Myanmar, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Russia, and Belarus.

13. Liability

The Organizer is not responsible for:

  • Technical issues affecting submission or participation
  • Loss, delay, or corruption of data

The Organizer shall not be liable for any damages arising from participation or prize usage, except where required by law.

14. Data Protection

Participants' personal data will be processed solely for the purposes of administering the Competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

15. Final Provisions

  • No purchase necessary to participate.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice if necessary.
  • If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
  • Applicable law shall be determined by the Organizer's registered jurisdiction
